Evrychou (3rd mill, tou Jacoubou)

Mill Description

The cadastral map marks two adjacent mill localities bearing almost the same name. The one named ‘Mylos tou Jacoubou’ appears more likely to be the location of a mill because of the network of channels. Along plots 645, 646 and 648 there appears to be a water channel with a katarantin or outflow channel immediately before the mill aqueduct. The next stretch traverses a slope between plots 649, and 650, possibly the aqueduct. The same channel flows into the river beside plot 821. S. Floridou (TAESP Volume 1: 269)
