Alaminos (2nd mill)

Mill Description

The mill is built in an area planted with lemon trees. The surviving buildings of the mill include the aqueduct, the watertower and a stonebuilt water reservoir that is 2m deep. The surviving part of the aqueduct is 23m long and is supported by four buttresses and five arches. The mill has been listed by the Cyprus Department of Antiquities as an ancient monument of Schedule B and is a private Cypriot-Turkish property. Pitta & A. Theodosiou
