Mill Description

This locality south-west of the village of Agios Nikolaos is the possible location of a watermill, based on the locality name Mylonissa ('woman miller') and local memory. A farmer told the survey team that there used to be watermills in the area. Another locality name immediately to the west is ‘Kamares’, which perhaps refers to the arches of an aqueduct. S.
